Thanks, Bill. Unfortunate that they’re invasive, but they sure have added some nice color to the ride. I won’t feel bad for picking a few though!

1 year agoRed eft stage of an eastern newt. I always enjoy finding them with their impressive coloration.

Snapping turtle. They rarely leave water except to bask on logs, etc. This one is a seasonal exception when females are looking for a good nesting location.
