Yes, a bonafide still in business drive in theatre.

In Spain this summer, I wasn't allowed to make a decision on a ten cent grocery bag - we had to wait for El Señor (Jacinto), to confirm that we did need a bag!

Drive In as in movie theatre? That is a rarity!

Most of our tours are pretty scripted so it is especially fun to go off- script once in awhile. This tour has several day rides and local exploration time built in so that adds flexibility and potentially, more spontaneity.

I really like this style of touring especially for groups traveling together. Besides not having to pack up, it gives us more time to explore the towns we are in and the surrounding areas, both on foot and by bike. It also adds some flexibility into the riding schedule so if someone needs an extra rest day, they can take it or do a shorter ride.

How do you like the spoke type touring? I can see several advantages - not having to pack up, or worry about getting in the next room early, being the two main thoughts. I remember when we had that extra day in Jasper, we didn't end up going to the lake. The same thing happened Michigan - we had a day ride planned in Door County - Jacinto went and I was lazy.

To me, one of the best part of a planned trip, is doing something that is unplanned and having it be wonderful. Looks like you did that today.

Four days in Ithaca! Now I am envious.

Another remarkable spot I’d forgotten about. its so narrow it’s difficult to find the right angle for a shot that really captures the feel of it.

Thanks for the reminder of this, and of the whole region. I’d forgotten about this amazing spot.

Between the photos and the videos and the writing, how do you find time to ride?
