1 year agoWild referenced the cycling, not the environs. There is virtually no alcohol consumed here, except by tourists, so things never get very wild. But the ride took us on short alleys with many turns, twists and sudden ups and downs

Looks like finding tires and tubes for small wheels may be a challenge in Morocco just as it is elsewhere.

1 year agoThat looks steep even in the photo. Knowing that pictures generally don't do justice to a slope it must've been gnarly indeed.

For just a second I thought this was a room designed by M.C. Escher but then I realized it's a trick of the light: the base of the second column from the left (in the back of the room) doesn't actually connect to the front of that low structure (tomb?) in front of it...
