It’s an easy fix if you have the part. I carry one too.
1 year agoThat definitely looks fun!
1 year agoThat’s a lot of fog!
1 year agoThanks for the suggestion Jacquie. After last year’s experience with a broken derailleur hanger I carry a spare. I’ll bring it along to the bike shop this morning
1 year agoWhat an adventure, the kind you don't need too often! But you found a solution and friendly people to help you out. Hope there are no more problems with Vivien George.
1 year agoI’m starting to wonder if you have a bent derailleur hanger. The thing about electronic shifting is the gears should always be perfectly aligned, no “feathering” needed. At least that’s been my experience.
1 year agoFabulous. Just fabulous.
1 year agoOh dear, we hope you find a good bike shop in Seville. Your mechanical sounds unfortunate. Fingers crossed.
1 year agoAfter thinking it over, I decided not to go tubeless - I'm just afraid of not knowing what to do if I sprang a leak! I did buy a new tool - a tire bead jack -lever type thing and proved to myself I can get my tire back on. So it's still tubes for me. But I'll not rule out tubeless in the future
1 year agoYou did get a nice room! Buy some cookies from the nuns if you can. It’s an experience and the cookies are good too.
1 year agoI remember eating there, but you’re right, the photo is Al pumping tires. We haven’t pumped up our tubeless tires yet in Sicily (since assembling our bikes) because lower pressure is better on the rough roads. It’s time now, though.
1 year agoYes! I think there is a picture of Al putting air in his tires.
1 year agoI remember stopping here!
1 year agoWe didn’t see that in December!

We’ve never seen Andalucia in the spring, but this really makes me want to go.
