This is part of the Munich Venice cycle route.
1 year agoIs this a route you mapped out or a marked bike route? I've not seen photos of this road in any journals or touring route websites.
1 year agoDefinitely enjoying the humor in your posts. They are fun to read.
1 year agoThis is why I like my T-Mobile plan. y phone just works wherever I go. Don't know the cost comparison with European providers, but in the grand scheme of things it's minor.
But, damn, that Best Regards reads like an FU it's so cold.
Maybe not always fun, but makes for a great story to impress friends with your toughness.

1 year agoWe have found the path closed signs to be mostly hoaxes. When they are real it can be a pain to backtrack and find a different routing, but that rarely happens.
1 year agoOn the flat lands of The Veneto now. It’s warm and sunny. Dolomites we’re fantastic despite the weather
1 year agoTruly amazing scenery. Shame about the rain and cold, but you seem to be making the most of it anyway. Cathie xx
1 year agoThanks. It’s been amazing despite the crap weather!
1 year agoThanks Kev. We’ll catch up when I get back in late May!
1 year agoMon ami
Loving every minute of your report. Tommy is a gem!
After a round table conference here at the Aged Care centre it was agreed unanimously to conference the Nobel prize for medicine on you; Brainfart describes the symptoms of Dementia!
Love your work!
We really enjoyed that ride too but we weren’t being chased my snow clouds. The Dolomites are very impressive mountains. Enjoy Cortina.
1 year agoSorry you missed Brenner. It was one of our favourite rides and views along with Fern pass the day before on our trip in 2019. We went along the East bank of the Sill river through the towns of Isgl, Patsch and Steinach am Brenner. Through those towns it was a designated bike path with moderate traffic. You can see our ride ride on this link. https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/lecce/day-24-telfs-au-to-scaives-it/
Totally, agree that the Italians have the got great bike paths etc.
Enjoy the rest of your trip.
glad you took a photo, so you can remember where you left it ....
