WOW. Homemade pasta--don't see that terribly often and it looks fantastic. How was it?

The one thing not so great about SA is the food! I didn't eat much there that I liked.....and they cook with palm oil which infuses everything with a not-so-great taste, I thought. Ick. Don't go to SA for the food! Perhaps if one eats at a Ritz Carleton,...... they might actually use some olive oil!

Love that tree--it's found all over in Australia (for one) I believe--not sure as I can't see it up close.

Fascinatiing! Looks like the ladies had fun also. Always nice to meet up with "strangers" you end up really liking.

I am super interested in reading about your South Africa trip since I just got back from there. Couldn't imagine until now that anyone actually biked there given that we saw so many animals, some of which were on the main roads. THIS will be fascinating! Hope it was all you hoped for. South Africa ROCKS!

Thanks Rich. I'm having so much fun (for the most part) and Africa is way better than I ever could have dreamed. Now, if I could just get my blog caught up!
