Might be some species of Hylocereus.

All in all, it sounds like a pretty nice way to spend Christmas Day.

As long as we can stay dry and warm enough, I really like biking at this time of year. The sky can be so interesting.

The foot was a lucky capture. I took the photo because of the green background, and didn’t notice the foot until later. Also, I like the way his pose mirrors that of the Ross’s Goose just above.

Great shot!

This is the first heron photo I've seen that includes a good look at the foot. And what an interesting foot it is!

Also, the Kermit the Frog Green moss looks pretty nice with the heron's outfit.

Wow!

Pretty interesting band of relative calm between moody layers of sea and sky.

That little funnel cloud reach down and and ignite some fury!

It sure is; and time is so strange, moving in fits and starts, speeding up and slowing down. So much happened back then in just a few years - a lot of drama. The plot line went pretty stale then for about 30 years, other than the suspense of wondering if I’d ever manage to stay married. It’s great to have the drama back.

It's so interesting how life takes these twists and turns, how if one little thing had happened one way instead of how it did happen, your life would have evolved in a completely different way.

I wonder all the time how I survived the '70's. Now I can wonder how you did as well. Great story, Scott.

This is a great story. I shiver to think what might have happened if you already had been in Chile during the overthrow. Life is full of plot twists, isn’t it?

100% of the images on our journal and 100% of the images on my Instagram are with the iPhone. Just saying that it's an incredible camera and the best camera is the one most readily accessible. Your photos with your phone look great.

Looks plausible at least. Better than giant cauliflower, which was my thought.

Looks unequivocal. The name certainly fits the appearance..

It was a huge shift, but I’ve shifted gears pretty quickly for as long as I can recall. I’m not sure if that reflects flexibility or flightiness, but it works for me. Pretty exhausting for people around me though, I suspect.
