4 years agoWhat a beautiful road! I never get tired of photos of roads. All are different and all are enticing. They beckon me to go down them.
4 years agoThey had a golden opportunity to name the crossing road Hankey. What's wrong with the people who name roads anyway? I've always wondered if they are the same people who name paint colors. Now that I think of it, 'Golden Opportunity' would be a great name for a paint color. Excuse me for digressing.

Nothing like unnerving traffic and an excessive presence of cars to dampen the spirits.

Even I didn’t recognize myself. Probably the worst photo I’ve ever taken - home made haircut, the fullest beard I ever had, and I even look fat!

We're getting pretty strong now, after 1000 miles, but not strong enough for 21% grades! Especially not carrying 25 kilos.
