Oh, good catch! No bike though.

No, you’re right. I think it was near 70 today. It’s a shame I forgot my swimming trunks.

Not exactly the setting for a Polar Bear Swim!

So it seems like the poor thing has only visited three states so far. Such a sheltered life! We’ll have to see if we can up it a bit for him.

I love that vision, Rachael!

May peace guide the planets and love steer the stars in 2020!

Um, I'd say a blog post with your top 13 and all the stories that go with 10,000km of footloose living are a pretty decent substitute for walls.

The walls will be there for you and your calendar when it's time to turn that page.

I'm pretty sure the original GBO was with you (in Croatia?) while we were on Undaunted Porridge.

Good thing! I don't think the GBO would appreciate tornado warnings and frequent nighttime lightning storms.

Great video of the ride - that orange jersey is perfect on the bridge with the orange railings, too.

That was Rachael’s idea. She thought it was the perfect, optimistic way to usher in the new year.

Aren’t those pelicans wonderful though? I don’t think the browns do this, but they’re plenty entertaining in their own way. Hopefully we’ll see a video of those soon too.

And just barely. He was already steaming off stage before I noticed him up there.

Maybe they’re coming though. Those new waterfront promenades are probably just the beginning, claiming the space for better things to come. Maybe By the next time you go back they’ll be linked up.

He was trying to reminisce about the old days, but stainless steel has such a poor memory - it’s hard to etch new memories into such a tough storage medium. I’m trying to help him update his life list of states he’s visited now that we’ve shown him the west coast, but he doesn’t remember. Didn’t he go on the L&C ride with you though?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Rub it in. I sure wish we still had walls! I guess I could hang them on the inside of the storage unit, but we’d only see them a couple of time a year. Sigh.

March! Not so far away now, really. I can almost smell the coffee now. Oh, wait. I can’t smell.

2/29? Leaping home on Leap Day? When are the twins due to see the light?
