The garden area is beautiful! It must be hard to maintain!
2 years agoHow nice the baker's van came around and had croissants for you all to buy and enjoy!! That never happens at campgrounds in the U.S.! Thus, I always keep a stash of "emergency rations" in my bag, in case no food options appear.

2 years agoGreat you finished your meal before the rain came again! When I am looking for a campsite, I always check to see if there are any lights nearby that would disturb trying to sleep. I also bring an eye mask to put on if need be.

2 years agoI remember seeing these salt marshes and buying some of the salt at the gift store. Interesting! Don't think we have these salt marshes for harvesting in the U.S.
2 years agoLove crepes! :) When I was biking in France, I would stop and have a savory crepe, and then follow it up with a sweet crepe. :)

Yes, a picnic table is definitely preferred over a place to hang your laundry. You can always use a clothes line for that.
